Yeah! Arcade Fire rule. I own the special edition of Neon Bible, and fell in love with Funeral. If you can't find Intimacy by Bloc Party, their second, A Weekend In the City, is awesome also.

    What's the special edition?
Omg I got Funeral about two weeks ago...wow, what a beautiful album I don't know which is better, Neon Bible or Funeral

And what did they say about U2?

  2. Sounds like someone's got his panties in a bunch... Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler had anything but kind words about bands like U2, The Rolling Stones, and Oasis, who "want to shove [success] down people’s throats." Win told NME:

“It’s not like we shun success, but at the same time we don’t want to shove it down people’s throats. In the UK there’s this kind of rock star competition. I don’t know if U2 started it, or The Stones or Oasis but a lot of bands think in terms of: ‘I’m going to be the biggest band in the world. Fuck all those bands who’ve got no ambition’. I think that’s a total crock of shit. There’s nothing less interesting to me than the idea of marketing the fuck out of something so people are forced to like it. Some bands are just manipulating people to buy music. That’s how 90 percent of the record industry works! It’s basically the same as selling a fucking toaster or a cruise package.”

Yet U2 was nice enough use their song and use them as openers for their Tour.

Geez Win, way to be nice
They still make great music. Although I can kind of understand where he's coming from. But U2 are such nice guys that they would still let Arcade Fire tour with them God bless those boys

The special is some box, its about the size of a normal cd, it has two flipbooks, the cd, and liner notes.
I like funeral better, it seems more catchy, but neon bible is still great. esp body is a cage and black mirror.

Ah well, there is a bit of truth in that. At least they're not just hatin on u2 because of the music.

I love the religious themes in Neon Bible, that album is a grower, but once I got into it I loved all the songs. Antichrist Television Blues,Car Running, Intervention, Body is a Cage, pretty much the whole album is my favorite lol
Crown of Love,Rebellion,Tunnels,In the Back Seat, and 7 Kettles are my favorites from Funeral
