I also noticed that I started to skip the first track (NLOTH). I miss some rocking groove in it. Maybe I'll try to slow down NLOTH2 and see if this is a better album opener.
This leads to the following ranking:
- Unknown Caller
- Magnificient
- Moment of Surrender
- Get on your Boots
- Stand up Comedy
- I'll go crazy tonight
- Cedars of Lebanon
- Breathe
- No Line on the Horizon
- White as Snow
- Fez / Being Born

I received my legal NLOTH copy today. Time for an update:
- Unknown Caller (best song on the album, most beautiful guitar parts)
- Moment of Surrender (just magic, keeps growing)
- Magnificient (great "signature" U2 song, we're yearning for stuff like this)
- Get on your Boots (this one rocks, killer riff)
- I'll go crazy tonight (another typical U2 song)
- Stand up Comedy (the line about people assuming God might need some help is utterly funny)
- No Line on the Horizon (my remix - adds some NLOTH2 groove to NLOTH)
- Cedars of Lebanon (great atmosphere, great lyrics)
- White as Snow (similar but weaker, reminds me of Springsteens "Tom Joad" album)
- Breathe (probably too punky to be a grower - but could be a killer live)
- No Line on the Horizon (album version - drums are buried, 1st verse is just a wave of distortion)
- Winter (sounds unfinished, haven't heard an undistorted version yet, so it might still climb up)
- Fez / Being Born (Fez isn't even a song, and BB isn't strong or catchy enough to compensate)
- No Line on the Horizon (b- side - I dislike Bono's high- pitched vocals during the verses)
