  1. 30 euro is nuts. Are they helping us out or worrying about not shifting tickets at full price?
  2. Amen, the same here I whish I could say "They're helping us, because they love us! That's all", but I can't. I think both factors are determinant... They can't afford a half-sold stadiuim a la Popmart, moreover many of their good old fans can't spend 80+ euros on a ticket...

  3. I think that while U2 are going to have a range of pricing, it will be hard to get multiple shows nice and cheap. U2 are trying to open the market up to all people who want to see a show so by making it cheaper and giving the true fans multiple shows is not really the point... Besides, 80 Euro isn't that much. Its like 140 Aussie dollars and I'd pay much more than that!
  4. so are u2 supposed to be going to the states after croke park?then coming to the u.k.

    as there is quite a big gap croke park 24-26th july.

    then london /cardiff/scotland 18th-20th august.

    thats almost 3 weeks.

    does that mean that u2 will do a small u.s tour before coming to the u.k.

    i thought i,d copy and paste as there seems to be 2 very similar threads on here.

  6. I paid £58 for my vertigo tour ticket, I'll be very surprised if the tickets are less than £40 this time.

  8. Does everyone see this as being the first tour in decades that they arent starting the tour in North America?

    I am from Cincinnati Ohio and had to travel to the northern part of the state or other states to see them. I hope that they actually play Cincinnati this time.

  10. We can reveal Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band will headline Hampden Park in Glasgow on Tuesday, July 14.
    It’s the US superstar’s first gig in Scotland with his group for 28 years.
    U2 will follow him to the national stadium to play a massive show - on Tuesday, August 18 - to promote new album No Line On The Horizon.


    Word is that all UK gigs were moved to August, too.
  11. Then July gets free for all German, French, Italian etc - shows, can we assume that the first leg will be like this:

    End of June - 3rd of July: Spain
    5th of July - 23rd of July: Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, (edit, Holland ), possible Poland-etc shows
    25th of July - 30th of July: Ireland (pressumibly only Dublin)
    5th of August - 20th of August: UK (all shows, London, Manchester, etc)

    So, the possible range for French, Italian, etc. shows looks ridicully short in comparison to the rumoured only UK dates, doesnt it? I wonder if they will return to middle Europe after touring the UK...
