  1. I heard the new album during my nightshift. It was very good. Working with that sound isn't so Bad! I'm waiting for the concert in the Nethelands, Belgium, France or Germany. Who can tell me about that?

    I was really pumped to hear this song, but it appears to not have made it...had hope it was Being Born.

  4. I have enjoyed this new album so far!
    No Line is still pretty cool. I like how it is different then the Boots single one.
    Magnificent has such an amazing riff and the lyrics about love are awesome.
    Unknown Caller I think will be a really rare song since I don't think I'll play it much. Hopefully the band will bust it out.
    I'll Go Crazy is a pretty unique tune which I also like a lot.
    Boots/Stand Up Comedy-good fast-paced tunes.
    Fez/Being Born is such an amazing piece ever by this band! They have to play at least Being Born live.
    Breathe is wicked cool since Bono does this talky rap and The Edge has an amazing riff.
    Cedars of Lebanon, one word to describe it, Powerful!

    I haven't listened to White As Snow yet but I'm sure it will be as great as the others.
    Overall though I'm impressed! I will definitely be seeing them live for the first time when they come to the United States. These songs are all worth seeing on tour!

  6. I love this album! Moment Of Surrender is such a moving masterpiece. Its like if Bad, had been arranged by Queen. The album has also helped my personal life, as last week it gave me a topic to discuss with a girl I kinda like.

  9. So, I heard all of their albums from the 2000s, and here is what I think.

    Nloth is miles ahead of HTDAAB. HTDAAB is tame, and is crumbs even a song? Its just random notes. On no song from Nloth does this occur. (sorry, crumbs fans)

    ATYCLB, when it gets great, is better than NLOTH. Beautiful Day beats anything on nloth. However, NLOTH is an albums album. As evidenced by the list your favorite songs topic, opinions vary widely on the songs, but on a majority fez-bb/magnificent/mos are on top. This implies that whilst some songs are better than others, the rest are generally equal. Some sonic eplorations don't work for people, some don't like COL. I think most of the songs are equal(great songs though). On ATYCLB, it is clear that some songs are better. Beautiful day versus Wild honey-BD wins. Title track versus white as snow, on the other hand, could go either way.ATYCLB has one amazing song, a couple great songs, and some solid ones. NLOTH has all great songs, which form one amazing album.

    In conclusion, I think NLOTH is the best album of the decade because it is daring yet solid.

    Hey, Rick Rubin helped during the initial sessions and since he's great producer anyway, he should receive any credit he can get.

    Also, there is a shout-out to Green Day; U2's partners in crime on "The Saints Are Coming".

    Speaking of Green Day, on a serious off-topic note, these three consecutive months are going to be exciting for music with U2's album this month, a new Bob Dylan record in April and a new Green Day album in May.
  11. well I think that on previous albums there were songs that were special from the very first time you would listened it. No Line On The Horizon is an album that is full with very good songs.I think that Moment of Surrender, Stand up Comedy sound great so far along with No Line On The Horizon.. It's still too early and the album needs time and more listening.. I like it very much so far and I can't wait to the live version of the songs because the band makes all songs sound even better when played live.. Great album though.. I can't get enough of the songs and the repeat all button is on two days now!!

    I disagree slightly, I don't think BD beats every song on the album (a few are definitely better). I do agree tough that NLOTH overall is better, but ATYCLB has a few tunes that are...well...magnificent Talking about BD, WILATW, Kite and New York in this case
    But ATYCLB also has some weak songs like Wild Honey, Grace and SIAMYCGOO.
    Therefore NLOTH is better indeed
