1. $75 for that promo CD, though. Not worth it, especially for a radio edit. I'm hoping the public release has a video or some extra song.

  2. when i was buying mine there was a line of 6 people and 4 of those had the album then as i was leaving the store a guy was looking at the cover, i told him it was great, then he asked how i knew
  3. It's also #1 in France, Hungary, Poland and Belgium. #3 in Finland. #1 in Germany very likely.
I'd be more interested to see the sold units, though - doesn't look too good from the projections.

They have the luck it's in a quiet period, not too much impressive stuff to be released.

Of course it's always good to be at No.1, but if you desire to sell 10 million copies you'll have to go for a longer run of sales. POP for example went immediately to No.1 in many countries, but the long- run sales were disappointing for U2's standards.

The next singles and the tour will help to sell a lot of copies I'd estimate.

it was alot easier to sell records in the 80's 90's then it is now, i cant even imagine how many people would have already dl-ed the album and not bought the proper version. U2 fans who arent die hards can just dl the album where as they would have had to have gone and bought it in previous times.
  7. No. 1 in Croatia

CD version only, other versions are not available yet.

They had mixtapes in the 80's-90's
  9. Also gone to the top spot in Australia
