DerBfreund: that girl you named is probably just for a Mexico gig or so, not for a complete leg (IF she already is a possibility).

She's from Costa Rica, as I am
But as I predicted, it was a fake, the poor girl got scammed lol
It was on the newspaper the next day, Universal are such dicks sometimes lol
    She's not opening

or maybe Angels and Airwaves, coz they're influenced by U2 and aren't too big to open for them.

or the Goo Goo Dolls, coz those guys are insane.

Goo Goo Dolls would kick ass.
  3. The opening act for the Toronto show will be Snow Patrol, and Black Eyed Peas will open in Vancouver. Rotating opening acts in Europe will include Snow Patrol, Glasvegas, Elbow, and The Kaiser Chiefs.

  4. Kaiser Chiefs and Snow Patrol are the only ones who I actually know... But the problem is that they already WERE support band sin 2005...
  5. U2 will welcome a number of different support acts to the tour including Glasvegas, Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol and Black Eyed Peas with additional artists to be announced.
  6. don't like any of these much.. oh well.
  7. Stereophonics might do it?

So choosing my best Australian possibilities....

    1) Crowded House - They are working on a new album so maybe a good time to tour?
    2) Powderfinger - Classic Aussie Rock - If you haven't heard of them and you like U2 check them out
    3) Silverchair - Have changed their music style alot since they started and Bono meet up with the lead singer a few years back (Daniel Johns) to listen to the new album

Midnight Oil or John Farnham, with that law in mind. I say get some 80s one-hit-wonder up there.

And if there's some guitar needed, Buckethead should do the job well.

    Voicst or Moke would do
  11. I like the black eyed peas
