1. Stupid IMHO, divide it in three groups over 6 months. Why not make it two then or something.

  2. Yeah thought that too. Or make everyone who subscribed before Vertigo tour Horizon, I could live with a Breathe-rank.

    Thanks.

I still don't know what to do. It's not about that 50 USD. It's about principle.

I live in Sofia and I want to be 100% sure with my tickets. I can't understand what they (U2.com) offering with this subscrible system? Do they guarantee my tickets? From where I should buy them - from croation promoter/seller or from U2 headquarter? Who will send me the tickets? Questions, questions...

I think of it like this, 'boots' group will get the least choice this time round with the presale, but remember the 2nd legs in 2010, those in the boots group this year will surely be higher up in the presale ranking, think of the subscrible system more as a long term investment.
All ticket sales will go through live nation, aslong as you buy through them you will have no issues

I even could. Why not make only the die-hard propaganda members Horizon? That would be awesome for those people.
  6. This is just not fair. The guy who planned the European Leg kinda forgot that U2 have fans not only in Western Europe....
  7. i'm confused, or maybe missing something...just got my presale email and it directly contradicts itself

the exact text from the email is:

Today Monday, March 9th, U2 have announced details of their new tour, 'U2360°'

As you've been a U2.com subscriber for a little while now you're part of our 'Breathe Group' of subscribers and we're pleased to offer you an early opportunity in the ticketing presale for 'U2360°'.

This e-mail, sent to you as a paid-up 'Horizon Subscriber' of U2.com, contains your personal and unique PRESALE ACCESS CODE DETAILS which will enable you to access the presale for U2 concert tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Your presale access code contains 13 UPPERCASE alphanumeric characters

So, am i in the HORIZON group? or the BREATH group?

    from the U2 FAQ page:

Q - When is the latest I can join U2.com to be involved in the Internet ticket pre-sale?
A - Anyone who is a current Subscriber to U2.com can participate when ticket presales take place but those who have been Subscribers longest get the earliest opportunity to enter the presale. 'Horizon Subscribers' have access starting on the morning of Day 1 of the presale, 'Breathe Subscribers' have access from the morning of Day 2 of the presale and 'Boots Subscribers' have access from mid afternoon on Day 2 of the presale. The presale for each concert closes at Noon / Midday on Day 3. The public ticket sale will start after Day 3 of the presale. The exact times for access will be emailed to you and made available on the tour page of U2.com.

so what are you going to do, Poland?

  9. Probably, but as there are only two gigs in Eastern Europe, the tickets will be sold out very quickly.

Gotta hate family holidays. We're coming back from Egypt on August 5th....

  10. I guess the next best thing is Germany, that or wait for the second leg

you're lucky. you're closer to a gig than i am.

  12. Chorzow or Zagreb for me, Zagreb is only a few hours from the capital city because there's a highway, but it takes a 6-hour drive to the capital from here Chorzow is the closest venue to my place. But 2 gigs for the whole Eastern Europe are simply not enough.
