the last presale was a nightmare.only using 1 ticketagent for a tour as big as u2 was crazy ,the system went down straight away,
and when i did get tickets, they were crap seats.

so im taking my chance on the general sale and saving myself £35.

    good luck then!
  2. yeah cheers.i should be able to get a ticket if im not too fussy about the dates or venues.

my mates got a g,a ticket after i got my preorder tickets for the same venue and he wasnt even a paid up member.
the last preorder was a nightmare.

i aint going to pay £35 for preorder and go through the same again, when i can do that a few days later and save £35.

  3. I have every track too but I want it in lossless so.
  4. I am thinking about getting a membership just for the pre-sale. Is it worth it? Are the tickets usually good?

  5. Well, the element of a pre-sale is that you're the first one to pick a seat, but there's really nothing to say about it now until it's officially announced or experiences are being shared.

from experiance.it wasnt any different to a general sale.however you have more chance of getting a ticket in a presale then you would a general sale.
just not the ticket or seat that you would idealy want.in terms of the website crashing, thats what happened in the uk last time if i remebr correctly.

if you join the presale, then you will get a ticket.

if you join the general sale, then you might not.

  7. When it was 'propaganda', for the zoo tour and the popmart tour i had no problems getting a ticket. Elevation tour i just used my own means. For vertigo i actually joined u2.com, got my ticket but never resubscribed because it was/is shit. But i now have, just for the presale. Fingers crossed.
  8. Didn't want to post in the general tour topic as others do, so....

    1. Is it possible to pay for the subcription by the Euro? The Terms and Conditions page says "All payments shall be made in U.S. currency. All currency references are in U.S. dollars."

    ?

    2. Does the page recognize letters like č? I'm not sure whether to type there my real name, Kačur, or simply Kacur

Dollars will automatically be converted to euros when you pay with your creditcard. Which is a good thing, since euros are more expensive than dollars

Kacur will do best I think.
