You have to insert a code but first you have to upload the photo you want at a hosting site, like http://imageshack.us
At ImageShack after you upload a photo is very easy to get the right code. You have to get that for Forums and to copy-paste in your post the first of the two codes the site gives you. The first works here, the second doesn't (at least not with me... ).

I hope I have explained it well so that you now can upload an image.
