1. I live in a suburb of Buffalo New York, of course a mere 15 minutes away from one of the natural wonders of the world

What would Buffalo be without the snow? This is the falls in the winter, truly beautiful, you can walk up on the ice where the water is frozen

Stadium of my beloved Buffalo Bills

And of course the most famous chicken wing bar in Buffalo, where you all get your Buffalo wings from

Its cold up here during the winter no doubt, but i can't imagine living anywhere else
  2. Here we are, some of Adelaide, Australia:

  3. Great ones Drew and Doc32
That first pic looks awesome Drew, what is that place?

  4. Adelaide is one of the tidiest, prettiest places in Australia. Definitely pay it a visit when you're over this way. That shot would have been taken not far from the Central Business District.

The pic I linked to isn't there anymore... but here's a similar one. The street we live in is the first parallel to the south (left) side of the river, between the nearest and the second bridge:

And this is my home town's skyline:

  6. This is a real big one, this time taken from the west. I can see our house on this pic. See the red tower in the middle? We live just a one minute walk from it to the right (Southwest). The school that my first daughter visits is also seen, it's the big brown brick building on the right side.

  7. This is a new shopping center in Frankfurt that just got finished last week - it's got a hole in the middle!

What the hell? That photo is insanely big, Alex!
I've been in Frankfurt by the way

I think it's the River Torrens with the little boat called the Popeye.

Absolutely - that's a great shot if I don't say so myself. Adelaide has the best wine in the world, wonderful Sunday morning markets, Carrick Hill and Kangaroo Island as well as heaps of little nature reserves and parks. I was up that way this afternoon and it amazes me how nice it is, still. Plus there's always Hindley Street and the West End...if you get bored one night.

It is the coolest place in Australia - and the Glenelg beach, that second picture, is an awesome place to go for a walk up the main strip or just go swimming or sit on the beach. Those trams in that picture don't actually service it anymore, which is a shame. On a brighter note, you can walk right around town - it takes you about half an hour, and just stop and chat to numerous people along the way. I've done that heaps of times, and I love it every time.

How's this? Looking for great photos, I never knew a bus went through the Heysen Tunnel. Wow.

Another place you have to absolutely check out (mandatory in South Australia) is Hahndorf, a little German-inspired town. They have a great old sweet shop, awesome little cafes (Otto's Bakery you have to see, and heaps of little memorabilia stores - just a great day out there. I've been countless times and every time, I love it.

Plus, we have frog cakes. Oh yes, the best cakes in the world. Little cream and chocolate frog-shaped cakes, in all different colours. That's another highlight of Adelaide, plus Villi's pies and Balfours pies and cakes too. I wonder if Aussie knows anything about frog cakes.

  11. Hi everybody, really beautiful places
