1. Has anyone purchased Rattle and Hum on Blu-Ray? If so please share your opinion on the quality and if there are any extras that werent included with the dvd. I own the vhs, and DVD. Im wondering if there are any outakes because some of the stuff left off of that film is GOLD:

    Unforgetable Fire
    New Years Day
    One Tree Hill

Any others that I havent mentioned? Thanks in advance for your input
  2. I have the Blu-Ray and to be honest it is a bit of a let down - not a great leap forward in quality and no extras to speak of.

Shame really as also have Queen Live In Montreal on Blu-Ray and that is absolutely jaw dropping in terms of picture/sound quality and extras....

Might have something to do with the fact that R&H is mostly in black/white

I agree about the Queen Blu-Ray!

Im just disappointed that they didnt include 5-7 songs that werent included in the original movie.

    40
    TUF
    NYD
    One tree Hill
    I will Follow
    Spanish Eyes
    Out of Control
    Trip Through your wires

All shot but not included. Theres also some soundchecks which us die-hards would love
OooOOo well......hopefully when R&H get the remaster treatment.
  5. Pretty poor blu ray. No visual improvement over the standard DVD and only a minimal sound improvement

  6. I'm sure we'll get a killer blu-ray out of the 360tour

  7. As a fellow U2start geek, the first question that comes to mind is:

Once U2 upgrades video releases from DVD to Blu-Ray...

Are we gonna be able to make CD quality audio rips from Blu-Ray (and beyond)?!?!?!?

Or are the uncompressed audio files gonna be WAY TOO HUGE to handle on a home PC???

And is the copy-protection going to be impossible to bypass?
