1. How to put linear on dvd , since the archives from the site are on quicktime?
  2. I got nuthin. I usually burn data dvd's to play on my x-box. I haven't burned Linear yet though.
  3. The files we've downloaded are in MP4 format, so you can burn them directly (probably Nero Vision could do the trick) or convert them to AVI or MPEG -probably with a massive loss in the quality, but you have to assume that- and burn them with anything you find. Nero is always a good option, you can mess around with it for years and you'll always discover someting new
  4. i've downloaded Linear, and it said to be an MP4 file, tried to burn it on dvd but I didn't succeed. Can it be it is protected for copying or something. I also converted it to DVD-format, but no burning succes either. Someone?

If you've got iTunes, can you load it in there, then right-click, Get Info and see whether it is protected?

It's able to be loaded to an iPod, so I wonder if it is protected. Either try that iTunes thing or get DVD Flick, which burns pretty much anything and everything.
  6. well, maybe I have a problem with my computer since I also tried to download Itunes, which went pretty well, but opening the program failed constantly and a a message appears that certain maps are not available so Itunes cannot be used.

I will try DVD Flick anyway, thanks!
  7. one question: does DVD Flick converts to dvd AND burns (so, both)?

  8. It will create the DVD-compliant files in the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders - not burning. I think that's why it's such a small download. You need to have Nero or something which can burn files off after from a folder. k3b I believe does this, and Nero too, as does Toast. I'm thinking maybe I should make a little picture tutorial one day - which would help others having trouble with this sort of stuff.

Can you load QuickTime and check it that way? Eliminating the need for iTunes but getting the same info. MP4 files are a real pain for burning - they just don't work too well. I couldn't tell you if it works or not because I didn't get a digital download code - only a disc.
  9. DVD Flick can burn if you install ImgBurn as well!

Then you should be able to tick the Burn option at the settings
  10. bump, for dear Gavin
  11. thank you!
I now see that I am repeating my own question, sorry for that!
