I got Eddie Izzard tickets next day. Gig itself isnt until December

  6. yeah, it really is quite inconsistent, one gig the tickets came in a week, and another gig with the same band, they came 10 days before the event, hopefully I can lay in bed staring at these tickets a good while before the gig

  8. fall asleep and have the ink of "general admission" stamped on my face, i would be devastated

  9. I know its a bit early.....but is there a thread for actual info on what to actually do on gig day.....ie what time to line up? can you leave the line? do they hand out numbers etc etc.....?

Forgive the over-enthusiasm but I just got my first ever U2 tickets!!

You're just in a line, you show them your ticket and you get in
Just be there a while before the gig starts and you'll be able to enter fast enough

maybe closer to the time when we know info about GA admission, golden circles, stage times and curfews, its my first U2 gig aswell so maybe those of the Vertigo tour or Veterans of PopMart or Zoo TV will offer insight, but we have a few months yet
  12. It also depends what concert you will attend and where you want to stand. First line sounds cool, but with all people crushing your back it might not be so cool after a few hours.

When you want to attend Dublin and be in the first row, you probably will have to be there a good number of hours ahead. For other concerts it might be less. Just be there in the morning if you want top spots.

I will start queuing in the evening already, just queuing and celebrating with fellow fans the whole night.
