  6. As far as I can remember, Mercy was only released as part of the Rare & Unreleased on iTunes. So my guess is that there's NO lossless around...

    I thought the legend was that Bono gave some CD with Mercy on it to some vague and yet unknown 'friend'...so there could be a lossless version but it might also be a decoded mp3 (MP3>FLAC).
  8. Mercy wasn't on any official release, but on the 2nd page of this topic yeah gave a link with the lossless and you downloaded it Casper So it isn't a true lossless?
  9. the 'lossless' version isn't actually lossless apparently. Read on another site that some guy basically did an autopsy on the file and it weren't a true lossless file.

    That was a year ago...I probably encoded it to 192 kbps MP3 and got rid of the lossless file as I can't find it anywhere. But I doubt there is a true lossless like Gerard just said.
