1. it's absolutely ASTONISHING that some people have such brainpower to create these structures!!!! The Stones are good, but U2 is better!!!

    Amsterdam should be the same.

I doubt that the whole thing is 50m, though. I think it's "just" the tip of the claw.

Ehm..I'm good at asking dumb questions but because the roof is removeable it would mean the show has to end at 22:00? Why?
Surely hope it won't happen..didn't happen last time either.

That stage is insanely big though, if rumours are to be believed.

because of the sound incovenience for people who live in the neighbourhood. that's why the roof of the arena is always closed during shows

Ah, in that matter...it would help to stop the echo though. And who lives in the neighbourhood of the ArenA? It's all traffic and some stores lol..but I'm being egocentric
  5. holy ..., that'll be a big ass stage. the 3d animation probably didn't do it justice at all
  6. I guess about 12-15 meters, not much more in case of being wrong... Not more than 20 meters for sure. That means that 360º stage could be at least TWICE the vertigo setup. Insanely huge as I said before. Insane.

I'd say it was 30 meters at least : )

The 7 LED panels which made up the video wall at the back of the stage were 12m x 4m each.

  9. The stage sounds amazing....I am going to try not to see any pics before hand until I step into Croke Park on 24th July.....just to maximise shock value!

I'll try to do that as well, or given my situation (addicted to U2Start, well ), at least I won't show any pictures to my parents and girlfriend

  11. You'd need to add the height of the stage to that video wall size.
