1. You're very welcome. I loved specially The Scientist, Talk and Fix You...
  2. I just bought tickets to the June 5 show in Indy. It is a present for my wife. I have never been to a Coldplay show.
  3. I'll be seeing them twice this summer, once right here in Buffalo, and once up in Toronto. Can't wait. I hear they really take it to the next level when they play in Toronto, so i await anxiously.

What is considered to be the 'Slane Castle/Red Rocks' of Coldplay? I'm looking for the bootleg that has it all: sound, setlist and excellent performance. Can someone guide me to the right show?

Certainly not as defining as Red Rocks for U2 but I can highliy recommend Coldplay's Isle of Wight Festival appearance in 2006 (audio). Great sound, amazing crowd and a band really enjoying what they do.
  5. While we're on the topic for a defining Coldplay gig...which one from this tour would anyone think was defining?

One show that comes to mind is 2008-09-09 Paris, great sound and great crowd, and I think someone from the band hailed it as one of their best.

all i have is the Philly broadcast....

  7. From this tour I'd say Barcelona last year and the 2nd Tokyo show last month were standouts.

  8. is that the show that was broadcast on Vh1 a while back? I looked for it that day but it wasn't on my channel for some reason
  9. Yep, that's the one. The broadcast had only 12 songs, though.

  10. is there a full DVD floating around, or are you referring to the audio that is one of the best from this tour?

  11. There's no full DVD that I'd be aware of. A complete audience recording is circulating, though. And from what I've seen and heard the show was pretty good.
