    That would be excellent
  3. I hope they stay firmly planted on the ground however, i don't want to see Bono flying through the air, that might get erm...distracting/ridiculous. "The right to be ridiculous is something i hold dear"

And who's to say that he would always land on the stage, and not out in the street?

Maybe something like a glass elevator down from the top of the stage's roof down to the stage would work... but the model on U2.com doesn't show that. Something like POPMart would work, but it would be better if they switched it up.

Or, maybe if they started out with a song like Magnificent or No Line On The Horizon, an intro similar to that of City Of Blinding Lights on the Vertigo tour could play over the PA, then they go into the song. However, the band is separated and playing in different sections of the stadium. Mini-B,C,D and E stages would be set up for the band to stand on. Or, maybe not even a raised platform, just a barricaded section for that member to stand at floor level and perform. That ends the first set, which is just one song. Then they could all walk to the stage somewhat like POPMart while music plays over the PA. Once the band reaches the stage and gets situated, the audience is thanked and revved up, the main set begins.

    Something like this:

(the black dots represent the mini performing areas.... unequally scaled, obviously.)

The only problem with my thought is the encore --- that's a tough intro to beat.
But, Rock n' Roll and roofs have a certain chemistry. I'm not saying that they play on top of the main roof to the stage, that would be too dangerous and hard to see from all angles. Maybe a separate roof, not quite as tall as the stage roof will be placed in the middle of the stadium for the band to play on. That would be pretty cool.

Juts my thoughts/hopes. I'm sure that something 100x better will take place.
  5. Something like the PopMart intro would be likely. That would rock really.
  6. Popmart entrace has been done already.

    Helicopter!
  7. If there's water close by, how about that yacht Edge recently picked up? How very fancy...

If only the tour was The Boat Tour...

  8. I know! A flying fox. They slide down a piece of cable from the top of the stadium.
  9. Man, Adam Clayton is 50 years old. You really think he can descend by a cable from the top of a 60 meters hihg stadium? Hahahha Nice idea anyway
  10. Through a helicopter they'll all land on top of The Claw, pump up their inflatable slides, and each slide down a different "finger" of the claw. After all four break both their legs at the opening night before the first song is played, the rest of the tour will be canceled
