    I listened to this one a lot when I was in the hospital for 2 months last summer, and I loved the "Show you a place with no sorrow or pain" lyric change from the "Show you a place high on a desert plain." Much more meaningful to me.
  3. For me it's Vertigo. JT is VERY close, but Vertigo tour does it for me everytime. I love the sound of Edge's guitar, they took it up a step in tuning like the album version, and Bono can clearly hit the notes. This song sounded complete on the Vertigo tour, for me it was the peak of every concert on the whole tour. I'm surprised anyone even voted for the popmart version. ZooTV was alright, and Elevation for me was a little too soft.
  5. I voted for JT/Lovetown, Elevation and ZOO are close seconds though. I for one don't think the Vertigo version is as bad as everyone here is making it out to me. Sure the segue from Pride was mediocre at best, but the performance of the song overall i thought was very good.

    It certainly remained a highlight of the live show, but compared to these other versions I do feel it's weak.

    Elevation indeed rocked hard. For me, it's a tie between the beautiful RTSS rendition to Streets from Zoo and Elevation.

    Couldn't agree more. The change in lyric has given the song extra meaning for me too.
