As far as I know, no, not happened.
  2. A good reason to add a second show on a night after a sold out one is that if the second night remains a non sell out, fans who attend the first show might walk out after the gig totally amazed and be tempted to go again on the second night

i don't know, i think it's just us die-hards that consider going to 2 nights in a row...

ANY U2 show remains non sold out since PopMart.
  5. Exceptional case that really doesn't prove me wrong, at least not my whole point, which was: U2 virtually sells out every concert, so second nights are not for that purpose that Giggman said... Second (and third) nights are there just because usually there are more fans in a city/region than tickets on sale for one concert

  6. nice reward. There was one other gig during Elevation that didn't sell out. Forget which though.

My comment was more of a general one as to the way that a lot of promoters add additional shows. As this is a U2 forum however I will agree that iU2 shows that are not sell outs are very rare.

  10. Moved from other topic,

    Hi All,

My wife told me that she just heard (on the radio) that U2 was making a stop in Raleigh, NC on October 3! I live here in the Raleigh area and this is unreal. I really hope that this was a confirmed statement. U2.com still only shows the first 4 shows of the NA leg.

Who else would be coming to this show if it's true?
