  5. Well, since MP2 is the highest possible recording from it (quality can't be higher or less encoded), it can be defined as lossless and therefore it's at the right spot Thanks for reporting though.

    Yep... but I think if there is not really looseless source,there could be two sources in loosy section... but I don't know your "looseless policy" forget about it

    Lossless means there hasnt been any loss in quality during the recording. Every bit from the MP2 has been conserved in this process (no lost frames).

    I'd dare to say that a normal analogue recording will be worse quality in most times (unless you have really good equipement.) Because of the DA and AD convertors in the lineage and reception issues (noise, clicking, drops).
