    I'm sorry to hear that....

no fan club membership, I assume?
  2. i had the boots presale code, but got no GA tix. so i dealt with my chances today. bad decision.
  3. I just feel like in an age of such technological advancement there has to be a better way to get people tickets and avoid marked-up prices of third parties and people monopolizing ticket distribution and charging 25 percent of the ticket price for service charges. It seems kind of insane to me that this is the only way for the system to work. It's so insanely corrupt and absurd. I've seen hundred of concerts, and I've always had to deal with ticketmaster, and it just keeps getting worse and worse. I remember thinking a five dollar service charge was crazy... . I feel like U2, being so innovative and groundbreaking, should be at the helm of developing something much better. I think they should do their own ticketing and distribution. I"m sure it would be a lot of work, but I know, as a devoted fan, I would be willing to pay the price to ensure that tickets get to the hands of the fans.

    sorry for the rant...

that's pretty much what the Horizon pre-sale code does though, right?
  5. do i buy a ticket for one in the 300 level, hoping that my firend didnt already get a ticket for me
  6. I'm in. Crap seats from what I wanted, but beggars cant be choosers right.

  7. and keep an eye open on craigslist and ebay. I think you might be able to move up as the date gets closer.
  8. Look like you guys who didnt get the seats you wanted here in America will have a chance with second nights. Good luck
  9. in europe most people have used their codes, so barca is indeed available at a late moment

also, most have filled in their schedules earlier on, and not all can add the second date, the fact that it is on the 2nd as opposed to the 1st is also a surprise, loads of people booked flight back on the 2nd ..

then, I guess there are some that think, it wont be any use anymore to sign up now ... as in the states it has dawned on loads of people that the only way to get a ticket, is with a code.... so you have a huge boots group; .. I guess ......

that experience will give teh remaining europeans a fright to buy a code for lets say barca
cause there are not any more concerts in europe that one can opt for, if the desired tix are sold out in/during boots presale ....

I would love to see the stats at the end of the tour ...
    how many in each group
with a daily graph, showing new signed up members, and their locations ...

but what you did was smart ,. get these barca tix, and swap !

    good luck
  10. Not really. PreSale codes are a invention dated 3 months ago, and there are lots of authentic fans that for one reason or another couldn't subscribe to U2.Com soon enough.....
  11. Boston first night confirmed
  12. Double post

I should use the mobile site LOL
