Yes, the screaming, 'Bono! Bono! I want to have your babies' etc.

Not only do they ruin it for other people in the concert, sometimes they ruin a bootlegged performance.
  2. My second favorite for now, slightly behind MOS and in front of Breathe and Magnificent

The "buuuury iiiit... I won't let you buuuryyy iiiit" part, sung by 80'000 people in Wembley is one of the most amazing things I ever heard. Period.

As long as the audience sings good, on right tempo and key, I'm all for it
  4. Sing-alongs make a great concert and a great bootleg.

Just have a listen to Milan 1992 and Bologna 1985 to get an idea how they can definitely add to the performance. They also lift up the band and ultimately the whole live experience. If you still have that point of view after listening to these shows and others such as Brussels 1987 then you're on a different planet to me.

Amen. And then we're even not talking about LoveTown Rotterdam or PopMart Sarajevo, just to mention two.
  7. Or the Toronto 2006 gig from Coldplay..don't start..
  8. AMEN. That Fix You is one of the most beautiful live songs I ever heard.

  9. A live cracker. It bores me on album but live it's brilliant. One of the highlights of the show I attended in Rotterdam last year.
  10. But I guess it's time to get back to Unknow Caller, OT
  11. We were not that offtopic, really. We were talking about liking or disliking audience singalongs, and it's OK to give some great examples (OK, the Coldplay one was actually off topic lol ) and that's what we were doing Back to the proper Unknown Caller discussion, though
