1. WhereTthe Streets Have No Name?
--ZooTV because that's when it became fortified as a legendary live song. It was too new in the JT days, and it was just getting to its feet. Oh and the ZooTV version of the Red Screens is just outstanding (also, I love listening to the bootlegs and being able to HEAR the electrical hum of every light on the Zoo stage light up...)
Popmart version was also great, I love how the song was the same yet took on this whole new identity for Pop.

    Pride?
--Unforgettable FIre Tour, although I don't think it's ever really been done it's due justice live.

    Sunday Bloody Bunday?
--Unforgettable Fire Tour. Nearly every Pre-UF song that was performed on the UF tour reached it's peak a that time, in my opinion

    I Will Follow?
--I quite like the Popmart version actually, kind of similar to Streets in that it transformed to fit the show perfectly....but I like the seemingly rejuvinated Elevation version as well

    New Year's Day?
    --Vertigo

    Mysterious Ways?
--ZooTV for the belly-dancing, falsetto singing and crazy-Edge soloing.

    Angel Of Harlem?
--Lovetown with the BB King Orchestra. 'nuff said

These are my fav live version of the follow u2 staple songs.

    What do u think?

    1. I Will Follow
    - Popmart. Best version. It is kinda of electro rock

    2. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking for
    - Popmart. it is a poppier version. it's emotional too. I love this.

    3. Desire
    - ZooTV. It is so different from the classic version from the Rattle and Hum.
It has evolved to space rock. Excellent.

    4. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    - Elevation. It is the hardest among all the live version.

    5. Bullet The Blue Sky
    - Popmart. It is funkier version. So much different from the ZOOTV. Best version of all.

    6. Zoo Station.
    - Vertigo, It sound so much better than the ZooTV live.

    7. The Fly
    - Vertigo. They nail it.

    8. With Or Without You
    - ZOO TV.

    9. Kite
Vertigo. It is an extension to the album version. Excellent solo work by The Edge.

    10. One
    Elevation.

    Joshua Tree Tour.

    12. Mysterious Ways

I Will Follow: I love the PopMart versions...but I personally think the early versions (Boy, October, War) are the best. And personally I also loved the Elevation-versions where Bono looks back to the past
ISHFWILF: Never liked it But the Vertigo-versions in South America were definitely the best
    Desire: ZooTV for sure indeed
    SBS: Either War-era or Elevation-era
BTBS: I'd like the Elevation opening, PopMart-ish beat right after, the Vertigo-style solo and the heavy metal ZooTV end
    Zoo Station: Vertigo for sure
    The Fly: Vertigo for sure
    WOWY: ZooTV indeed
Kite: ...Vertigo-style was awesome, as was Elevation style
One: ZooTV obviously With a snippet of UM
Streets: Elevation, but rocked on all tours
MW: Loved it almost every tour, but Elevation gets my vote
  4. Where The Streets Have No Name: Lovetown Tour
    Pride: Joshua Tree Tour
    Sunday Bloody Sunday: War Tour
    I Will Follow: PopMart Tour
    New Years Day: War Tour
    Mysterious Ways: Zoo TV Tour
Angel Of Harlem: Zoo TV Tour
  5. 1. I Will Follow
    - Elevation. Wasn't a regular but they nailed it when they played it (like on the Boston DVD). It was the song that I liked the most I when I watched the DVD for the first time.

    2. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking for
    - Euh, never very good live... Lovetown?

    3. Desire
    - ZooTV. Edge turned it almost into metal, put MacPhisto or Mirrorball Man it and there you go.

    4. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    - Elevation. Watch Slane and you're convinced.

    5. Bullet The Blue Sky
    - Popmart. For trying to play this song VERY different than the tours before, Zoo TV for nailing the song.

    6. Zoo Station.
    - Zoo TV, Vertigo versions weren't as rough as Zoo TV, and Bono's voice was better on Zoo TV.

    7. The Fly
    - Elevation tour for sure, although Vertigo rocked too (but Bono's voice was not good enough).

    8. With Or Without You
    - Zoo TV: love the intro.

    9. Kite
Vertigo. Great solo by Edge, but Bono forgets one verse I thought...

    10. One
Zoo TV. Unchained Melody or Dear Prudence snippets were gold.

    11. Where The Streets Have No Name
    Elevation tour

    12. Mysterious Ways
ZooTV or Popmart. After that they wasted it (Elevation & Vertigo)
  6. Do you mean the link between Lemon and WOWY, or just the alone WOWYs?

  7. Hmm... slip of the tongue. Love the solo... And the sound playing over PA is nice too
  8. 1. I Will Follow
    - Popmart. Agreed with your electro-rock definition, Sergio.

    2. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking for
    - JT. I like the gospel feel of it.

    3. Desire
    - ZooTV. Kick-ass.

    4. Sunday Bloody Sunday
JT, particularly the R&H version. Lots of raw feeling.

    5. Bullet The Blue Sky
    - ZooTV. Edge's solos were the best. PopMart is a close second, but the arrangement was a little thinner than ZooTV to my ears. I like the sound of Edge's guitar coming at me in full force.

    6. Zoo Station.
    - Vertigo. I didn't really like this song until I heard it on the Vertigo Tour. If they had added the "I could've lost you" intro, it'd be perfect.

    7. The Fly
    - Vertigo. Seems like they finally figured out how exactly to play it.

    8. With Or Without You
    - ZOO TV. The one-two punch of WOWY and Love is Blindness is killer.

    9. Kite
Vertigo. Elevation versions bored me to tears.

    10. One
    ZooTV.

    11. Where The Streets Have No Name
PopMart, for the Please transition and the PM snippet.

    12. Mysterious Ways
ZooTV, by a huge margin. It sounded a lot fuller, the extended piano intro was great, and I love Bono's falsettos toward the end. 8/16/92 Washington DC is perfection to my ears.
  9. WhereTthe Streets Have No Name
    --Elevation

    Pride
    --Unforgettable FIre Tour

    Sunday Bloody Sunday
    --War

    I Will Follow
    --Popmart

    New Year's Day
    -- ZooTV

    Mysterious Ways
--ZooTV (Popmart was pretty good too)

    Angel Of Harlem
    --Lovetown
