I normally do engineering. I do a combined Engineering/Business degree

Engineering huh? That's what my dad does
All these pricks just try to appear smarter so that we trust them with our cash!

  2. Yeah, but then again you guys trusted Dubya with the country (for 8 yrs too) and he didn't ever try and appear smarter than he actually was!

What kind of engineer is your dad? electrical? civil?

You do know that Gore probably won the 2000 election, right?
    He's a nuclear engineer

  4. Oh, yeah Gore got 500,000 more votes than Bush, but because it's on a state by state basis not total votes, he lost. Still doesn't explain Bush was elected a second time though

    Nuclear Wow, that's something
Does he work at a power plant? Hopefully he's not a Homer Simpson .

Yeah, fuckin' Florida As for 04, it's because they used stuff like Sept. 11th to help out Bush's campaign, because Karl Rove is an evil genius Also, he ran against John Kerry, who doesn't put up a big amount of competition McCain should have been the Republican candidate in 2000, maybe he would have done a better job
No, he works for the federal gov I don't know much about it.He's no Homer Simpson either, the only similarity is the belly

Yeah, politics is screwed up. The world would be a very different place today if Florida hadn't stuffed up.

Oooh, he works for the feds, does he work on nukes or some secret weapon program?
What are you going to do when you grow up btw?

Honestly, people forget that Gore sucks too I say we put Clinton back in!
I have no idea what he does, I think it's something in the Department of Agriculture He's very hush hush about his job, so yeah, he's probably building nukes
    I don't know, I don't know what I want to do with my life, I don't want a desk job, that's all I know

Lol, does he desing a lot of 'grain silos' ?

    I don't know, I don't know what I want to do with my life, I don't want a desk job, that's all I know

I know quite a few people like you, who don't know what to do. It always amazes me.

If you don't like desk jobs, why don't you become a reporter or foreign correspondent or something? Or get a job working for Lonely Planet?

I assume you want to work outdoors, or does that just mean you don't want an office job?

    I don't know, I'll have to ask!
    Why does it amaze you?
I just don't want to work in an office, if it's indoors, I'm okay, I just want to be doing something exciting. (BTW, what's the Lonely Planet? )

It amazes me, because people should have some idea of what they like and want to do (especially when they're my age). It isn't so much of a problem for you though, since your still young.

Lonely Planet is a famous publisher of travel guidebooks (targeted at young people mostly)
I know some girls whose dream job is to be writing for them (and get to travel all over the world).

So what subjects do you do at school then? do you get to choose electives in the US in middle school?

But there are people like me who are confused and indecisive
Ah. I probably wouldn't want to do that, I do like to be home sometimes
My electives are Band and Drama right now
