1. Hey Bono, your buddy has officially gone mental:

Pope Benedict XVI: condoms make Aids crisis worse

Pope Benedict XVI said that the distribution of condoms 'aggravates' the Aids crisis, as he embarked on his first trip to Africa.

While en route from Rome to his first stop, Cameroon, the Pope said that the condition was "a tragedy that cannot be overcome by money alone, that cannot be overcome through the distribution of condoms, which even aggravates the problems."

Speaking on board his official plane, the pontiff insisted that the Roman Catholic Church is in the forefront of the battle against Aids, advocating sexual abstinence and fidelity within marriage as a way of fighting the disease.

  2. He doesn't have any experience with condoms
But really, this is insane. Every living creature knows that condoms protect people from diseases like aids.

Oh well, I don't take the catholic church serious anymore since that British priest claimed that the Holocaust didn't happen
  3. Crazy. Well, he was part of the SS Squads, what can you wait from him?

Don't take one person's word as a whole organisation thought. Never. That priest is the biggest bastard ever walked on the UK, but he isn't the whole Church. Even the Pope isn't the whole Church, there are great people and ideas on the Catholic Church, as well as bastards... but that happens in every single human organisation

  4. He was actually in Hitlerjugend, but every German kid had to be back then...

Exactly. You can't judge a whole group of people by one or few persons. Just because there's a bunch of idiots in America doesn't mean I think all Americans are f**ked up

to the topic of Christian Church: Catholics are supposed to accept the Church's opinions on belief and morals, nothing more, nothing less, they don't need to give a shit about the rest if I should say it that way
  5. Well, there are some crazy people in the world

And there lies the problem with big groups of people who have similar goals/ideals, they get matching clothes, fight songs, and when one of 'em is a dick, you blame all of them

True, but there are more things That was just a small example.
First of all: the pope is the most representative person of the catholic church, so what he says is always important of course
I think that the Christian church take too much advantage of their good-believing people. People believe with all their heart, which is a good thing, they give money to the church and what did we get? A whole city dedicated to God (Vatican city).
Don't think Jesus wanted that back then, he would've prefered to get the money to the poor people.
  7. I've seriously started thinking about emigration...

According to our news he just has a ceremonical function and no real power...so it doesn't matter that much then, right?

Yes. He's an old communistic prick who can't make his own opinion and he can't even speak properly. Luckily he doesn't have much power, but his role is still quite important because every new law has to be accepted by him. People who control this country make me feel disgusted. From the social(istic)-populistic government to the President who'll accept every law the government comes up with. Seriously, this country's heading back to the past. Nacionalism is rising and one of the government parties consists of nationalistic extremists. You can see hate towards national minorities everywhere and the government even supports it. This President was their candidate and in the pre-election campaign they used slogans as "Do not let Hungarians decide who will be the President of Slovakia" because the opposition candidate had the support of minorities.

This election has shown that the majority of people who live this country are stupid. This government is supported by low classes and people without an university education. What really makes me scared is that this political party who leads the government has support of 47% of the population, which means that after the Parliament election next year they might be the only party in the government. I don't want this country to go back to the times before 1989. I really don't

That is really bad...47% Can never be good
Well, he sounds like a real populist, some guy who says exactly what the people want to hear, while he knows that he can't make his promises come true. And we might get the same situation here, a racist poltician, Geert Wilders, keeps telling us that he'll make all the foreigners go away and that the Islam is a bad culture. Exactly what everyone wants to hear, and if we had elections right now he'd be our new prime minister
EDIT: But I just see that my favorite party is 4th in the expectations Cool

Don't worry too much I'd say, it's over after his legal period, right?
Just a couple of years and it'll be all over. And when they can't make their promises true the people will get to see that they've chosen wrong

well we'll have this President until 2014 and it looks like the government will be the same after the Parliament elections next year, which means they'll be at power at least until 2014 as well as the President, but by that time I'll be studying somewhere in the UK or the US
  11. this Mr. Mahmoud looks like he wants to start a world war or something...
