1. I think I can figure out how they did it with Bono, Adam and Edge. But I have no idea how they made it with Larry and his whole drumset.
  2. Are we talking about GOYB or EBBTRT?

Still my favourites, with 'Lemon' , 'Stay' and 'Even Better Than The Real Thing' to add.

Talkin' about that last vid...Anyone got a clue how on earth they made that one?

Director's commentry on the Best of the 90's DVD explains. I can't quite remember but it was quite simple. I'll pull it out tomorrow.

I think they made a framework kinda thing that they stood in while the camera rotated around it
  5. I love LNOE and Discotheque but I think y'all know what my vote for all time fave video is going to be...

    Electrical Storm.
    *wipes drool off keyboard*
  6. The BEST u2 video is All I Want Is You!!!!

Most classic and haunting MTV done by U2.

    Can never be better
  7. My Top 5
    Beautiful Day
    Discotheque
    Electrical Storm (pretty girl )
    Please
Magnificent ? (when it has been released in 2098 )
  8. One of the coolest clips should be Sweetest Thing. I love the ending, where Bono whispers "I'm Sorry" to Ali...great!
  9. BUMP! Just came across this on YouTube and the mirrorball at the beginning is a legend. Just casually sitting in a shopping trolley, mixing it with the lemons and hanging out on the swings.

And for those wondering how they film EBTTRT, it's basically a camera mounted to an arm that spins through 360 degrees:

As you can see, the camera can go over and under the subject in a complete loop. The gap in the staging allows you to see up through the subject without a 'floor' obscuring the view.
  10. I could never watch the full EBTTRT video. I always got motion sickness.
