Shirts were originally a way to promote the site, it's alright making gorgeous designs for the front, but at least keep the back for the original purpose... I'm now on Gerard's side, at least for what's concerning that new design(s)...

Plus: everyone can delete the U2start.com on the back if they want to.

And second, don't take my previous messages (and Gerard and other users's ones) as a personal attack, we all appreciate your efforts and your desings (some of them are just awesome, they'd deserve being in the official U2.com shop!!). We just wanted to point that the original purpose of the shirt-thing was 1) don't wear usual clothes at our U2 concerts, but proper U2(start) clothes; 2) being recognised by other pottential U2start users in our venues (that's why the "U2start // Nickname" on the back stood for); and 3) promote the site for people in such venues, because U2start it's a great service to the fans who doesn't know how to get bootlegs.

Appearantly you don't know as much as I do (seems I'm more involved-no offense)
I didn't said that. And the fact is that U2start is actually making a little bit of money out of it, but I'm not against that - because the sites costs more (Rapidshare, domain etc.) than it gains.
But nevermind. Lets talk about something else.
