1. in the little black thing under the lyric: u2start.com , or for myself: u2 360
  2. Not enough space&importance for promoting whatever you want. Shirts were originally a way to promote the site, it's alright making gorgeous designs for the front, but at least keep the back for the original purpose... I'm now on Gerard's side, at least for what's concerning that new design(s)...

Understood, it isn't available in the U2start shop anyway. Just for personal use. And besides that I don't think it's fair to let people pay more than 20 euros just to advertize a site... I won't buy such a shirt.

Plus: everyone can delete the U2start.com on the back if they want to.
  4. We want our members to buy the u2start shirt because they are kinda proud to be on here with us, to be part of our community. Promotion is a side product of that but the main reason like I say is to hopefully bump into a member out on tour that's wearing our shirt because he wants to. That would be the ultimate. I'd rather see 1 gutly in our shirt that 100 guys in moment of surrender shirts (even though it's a nice shirt). The tshirt experiment just expanded way too much I feel
  5. Well we should stick with the shirts we offer, and leave it at that. The shirts are fine, they all give U2start promotion and people who don't want too much promotion for U2start can have a shirt too.

There are shirts for everyone, the shirts are meant for a) fans who like to have nice shirts and b) members who like to promote the site and c) for people that want both. And that's it, please stop this discussion.
  6. It isn't even a discussion, I agreed with what Sergio said. That shirt is just for personal use.

Man, U2start doesn't make money out of any shirt, first thing. We don't sell them as U2start but as a Spreadshirt service added to our site. If someone makes a dollar out of those shirts, it's Spreadshirt. Not us.

And second, don't take my previous messages (and Gerard and other users's ones) as a personal attack, we all appreciate your efforts and your desings (some of them are just awesome, they'd deserve being in the official U2.com shop!!). We just wanted to point that the original purpose of the shirt-thing was 1) don't wear usual clothes at our U2 concerts, but proper U2(start) clothes; 2) being recognised by other pottential U2start users in our venues (that's why the "U2start // Nickname" on the back stood for); and 3) promote the site for people in such venues, because U2start it's a great service to the fans who doesn't know how to get bootlegs.

Well, we do make little money out of it (mainly to cover costs of the site though), and the original purpose has a little changed. It sometimes is a good thing to change your purpose to a more widen-purpose

    Sigh

Appearently you don't know as much as I do (seems I'm more involved-no offense)
I didn't said that. And the fact is that U2start is actually making a little bit of money out of it, but I'm not against that - because the sites costs more (Rapidshare, domain etc.) than it gains.

But nevermind. Lets talk about something else.

So...U2Start-shirts! I must say I like this MOS-design, Dieder. Personal use or not..it's a good one!
