  1. Re. the video - it's ok, quite like it. Prefer it to GOYB, but I just don't see it doing much to get the album out there kinda thing. Again, that's no negative where I'm concerned, but I don't think this one will be a commercial hit to go up there alongside something like JT or HTDAAB, whether you think it's a better album or not - the music scene is different and they've gone down a route that doesn't necessarily blend into how it is at the moment.

    Well maybe that's not their goal nowadays. I just can't think of anything else because the promotion of this single was very poor.

    Well, Larry did say a couple of times that they were making this record with the simple purpose of creating music, and that's what they did. Perhaps they got a bit too swept up in this idea when it came to promoting the album though
  4. Decent enough I guess. I did like the uncovering of the city, and there was one shot towards the end where the camera pans up over bono's outstretched arms up towards the sky that was pretty nice. I'd have rather seen more of Fez than the band, though. I've seen enough of them, but I've never seen Fez.

    Why they made an interesting and unique video (Vertigo, Original of The Species, Get On Your Boots) matched to an uninteresting and uninspired song is beyond me - unfortunately and sadly the only one on the entire album and belongs back on HTDAAB or even ATYCLB.

    I like the idea of the sheets gradually lifting off the buildings - I think it means something like uncovering your true love for each other - ''The Magnificent'', and finally seeing the truth of that love unfold everywhere. Adam is on fire here, jumping around and just letting rip. The only one who made the riad shots worthwhile.

    Still not as good as both Get On Your Boots, which was truly awesome (song + video). So this video is going to be included on the single?

    Have any of the other remixes been comparable to the original mix?


    It was about seven minutes or so. Better than the original by miles.

    Sure its not spectacular but somehow I dont really think thats what they were goin for either
    Pretty much all about this album feels low key and its ok for me
    It dosent have too be all about smash singles all the time
    Even if I admit it wud been nice for this song too be more "recognised"
    But we see what happens altough it wont be no. 1

    It's a good video, easy as that
    Seen better yes, but also seen less good videoclips (I'm talking to you ABOY, Elevation, TSAC, EBTTRT and Mysterious Ways )
