  4. or Luminous Times, which Edge mentioned already...

I don't think they're going to play a ton from the Pop CD...although I wouldn't mind hearing Last Night On Earth at all...

Luminous would be great before Streets. I think mine is probably the most realistic the encore is totally manageable.
  6. Base on the Edge's recent comments, below is the setlist that would be possible.
6 songs from NLOTH (about 1/2 of the album) + some b-sides and rarities.

    1. Luminous Times
    2. No Line On The Horizon
    3. Love Comes Tumbling
    4. Magnificent
    5. In God's Country
    6. A Sort Of Homecoming
    7. Miracle Drug

    12. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
    13. Trip Through Your Wires
    14. Where The Streets Have No Name
    15. Waves Of Sorrow

    Encore 1
    16. Get On Your Boots
    17. I'll Go Crazy If You Don't Go Crazy Tonight
    18. Vertigo
    19. Fast Cars

    Encore 2
    20. Beautiful Day
    21. Pride (In The Name Of Love)
    22. Who Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
    23. Yahweh
  7. Luminous Times as the opener? No way, even though the rest of the setlist is pretty plausible. I dislike the idea of Love Comes Tumbling as the third song... The first 4-6 songs of a concert should be pure energy and rock and roll, and LCTumbling is pretty slow and intimate...
I love the idea of Trip Thru Ur Wires
  8. i can see Mofo being played on this tour!!!!!!!!

  9. Let's me remake a funky setlist.

    1. Mofo
    2. Get On Your Boots
    3. Lady With Spinning Head
    4. No Line On The Hoizon
    5. Numb
    6. Magnificent
    7. Do You Feel Love
    8. Breathe
    9. Walk On
    10. Trip Through Your Wire
    11. Luminous Times
    12. Where The Streets Have No Name
    13. Wave of Sorrow

    14. Beautiful Day
    15. I'll Go Crazy If You Don't Go Crazy Tonight
    16. Your Blue Room
    17. Fast Cars

    18. Vertigo
    19. Fire
    20. In God's Country
    21. Pride (In The Name Of Love)
    22. A Celebration
  10. As much as people are getting exited about great songs we haven't heard for a while I don't think its very realistic. I'm 90% sure they will kick off with 'Get on Your Boots' as it was the first single and the tour was going to be called 'Kiss the Future'. I'm sure we can expect lots of the classics, eg. One, Sunday Bloody Sunday, New Year's Day, Streets, The Fly. As I would obviously love to see songs like Luminous Times (Hold on to Love), Mercy, Do You Feel Loved and Acrobat, I think it is very unlikely and that U2 will stick with songs they think casual fans know and like.

Everything after 8 songs is considered an encore? I don't think that is accurate.

Seems your list is a bit short at 18 total songs. Some others are wishful thinking at 25. On average, U2 have been playing 20-22 songs per night.

    That said:

1-8 all new is good news in my book! I think a lot of the No Line On The Horizon tunes (title track for sure) will sound great live.

So what for the other 12-13 tunes? I'd like to be surprised. So it'd be great if Edge's comment in Rolling Stone comes true and we see some B-Sides and less played tunes. It isn't that New Years Day, Pride or Bullet The Blue Sky are bad song or that I am 'sick' of them. But it would just be great to see/hear them dig deeper into the catalog.

For a fan in the US, some of Rattle And Hum tunes that were played on Lovetown ONLY would be great. ("God Part II", "Hawkmoon 269", "Van Diemen's Land"). I think the same can be said for Zooropa album tunes, of which ONLY "Stay (Faraway, So Close!) has been played. What would be cool? "Daddy's Gonna Pay...", full song of "Zooropa", "Babyface", "Somedays Are Better..."

    Time will tell.

I do think that there may be some "Pop" album resurgence. Perhaps "Mofo" or "Discotheque".
  12. I still hope Mofo or God Part II make re-appearances - I'm holding on for either to be regular encore openers or some such thing I'd also probably die if they brought back EBTTRT, I dunno why per se - it's not one of my all time favourite songs, but I think it's killer live...there are so many songs I think we'd all like to see brought into the live arena, but we're just gonna have to wait 'til the end of June to see what comes up. If there's one song I genuinely hope they retain, it's I Will Follow. Bite me.
