  1. Just wandering today... I know that Zooropa has been played live but why so rarely, I heard it live and it sounded good! I like Zooropa.. so does anyone know why... Thanks.

    I've always wondered that. What I've heard is a small excerpt of it (more than a snippet) of about two or three minutes. Maybe the sound effects are too hard to recreate live, properly, or the song is far too long for live and fitting other long(er) songs in too.

    I think this is the list I have of the songs, alphabetically for each album (Boy - No Line) that haven't ever been played live or just snippeted.

  6. If I remebmer rightly, at the beggining of the show the song was playing on the PA (as always on the tour) and the band just joined to play a few lines or whatever... Dunno if it counts as a complete performance, don't think so

    That was 4th of July, it was mainly on the American leg in 1985.

    I'd guess if it was more than a snippet but a seperate song would count as a proper performance.
