1. Personally I don't think they did. I saw this documentary about it. They said that there is no wind in space so why was the American flag blowing when they put it down? Also about the shadows were in the wrong place if the sun was on the certian side...

What do you think? I'm guessing there are some Americans on this site who know more about it than me. Tell me your ideas !
  2. Flag wasn't blowing. It was just a bit folded.
  3. I have a hard time believing any conspiracy theories.
  4. I LOVE to think we really landed there. There are some "proofs" or ideas that suggest we didn't... I never paid much attention to conspiracy theories, even though some of them sound pretty plausible...

    Dream Out Loud
  5. Why make it up?

This is out there with is Elvis really dead.

  6. The Americans would have made it up to show their technological prowess off to the rest of the emerging superpowes I reckon. Couldn't care less really. A good conspiracy is always nice
  7. Most people like to argue the "flag blowing" reason. It doesn't need to be air that is blowing, it can be any other gas. Furthermore, wind cannot be inside a studio.

And the winner for "Most Random Topic in a U2 Forum" goes to............... u2spear, with "Did man really land on the moon?"

  9. In the 1960's? I'm not going to discuss this any further, because I hate going back and forth like this.

  10. There's the 'Tupac is out partying' one to go with the 'Elvis is really dead' too. Anyone passing by spot Elvis in the rumoured burger joint?

Anyway, I'm always interested in conspiracy theories. I'm sure we had a topic like that around here somwhere...
