I think Magnificent is a brilliant example of his bassplaying - it was only listening to live versions that I actually got a feel for the bass part, and the most I listen the more I think he's really got into a hell of a groove this time around.

nah, I dig the other songs a lot, too.

there's none there I dislike, it's a very thin margin.

This album really has turned into one I love...but one that has a high # of automatic skips for me

1. NO LINE ON THE HORIZON - why is it so low on everyone's list!? C'mon people! It's the best song on the album!

2. UNKNOWN CALLER - if only because it really encompasses the new sound this album brings

3. FEZ-BEING BORN - also feels "new" to me...and very Eno-esque (which is a good thing on my end)

4. MOMENT OF SURRENDER - same thing....wish this atmosphere stayed consistent through the album

5. BREATHE

6. CEDARS OF LEBANON - I love that they sampled "The Pearl"

7. MAGNIFICENT - don't know what it is...but I kind of hate this song

8. WHITE AS SNOW

9. I'LL GO CRAZY EVERY TIME I HEAR BONO NOT HIT THE HIGH NOTES IN THIS SONG! AAAAGH! SKIP!

10. BOOTS - um....anyone want to listen to Escape Clubs "Wild Wild West" again? No? Then why do you want to listen to this!? SKIP!

11. STAND UP COMEDY...is a total joke. SKIP!
