1. Magnificent from the Late Late Show with Pat Kenny as host for the very last time. U2 gave a solid performance and a nive interview afterwards. This download only contains Magnificent, ripped from the DVD uploaded at U2Torrents. I cut it with Audacity and made it fade in and out. It's 192 kpbs and the sound quality is great.

  2. Someone please change the topic title..it's supposed to be 2009-05-29 and the addition of [Audio] would be welcome..
  3. thanks a lot for the work!

  4. Thanks a lot! Sounds great. Almost like a studio recording - looks like some editing has been involved? There also seems to be a second guitar - or am I getting it wrong? Great anyway, good stuff. Thanks again.

Well, I haven't edit anything..it's that backing track I think.

  6. Yep, I was referring to some U2 editing. If they didn't edit Bono's voice, that's definitely our best live version of Magnificent so far. First night is not far anymore! Hope they will surprise us, and get rid of songs like NYD, Elevation etc.
  7. his vocals definitely had some tratment. I liked it though. Drums were nicely prominent
  8. Thanks Casper
  9. Thanks
  10. Like it like it

  11. Cracker performance if I don't say so myself. But yeah, some parts sounded like they were processed.

That's the best version of the song to date on anything including the studio version. This is gonna be like Beautiful Day on tour and live performances.

Agree . On the other performances, Edge's guitar sounded waaaayyyy too flat. Last night, Edge had a more raw sound which I liked a lot. And Bono's voice had some kind of echo processing, indeed, but I don't mind. Many singers use them to add a new dimension to their vocal parts (even Bono himself on the studio - The Fly comes to mind), so why not?
