  2. ^^ Way too many medleys if you ask me / if this is what you mean by "rotate". I don't think U2 ever played their songs as a medley did they ? Also, I don't think it works that well live, unless a medley of three songs is 12+ mins long .

    I think that his "rotation" means "One night play A, the other night play B"... I think


  4. Ah you're right Sergio. In that case: pretty good selection of songs, but my order would be different. now I feel encouraged to make a new more detailed list for myself.

    I like that a lot, Drew, but it's way too short. I've taken the liberty of addin five more italic songs that I miss a lot (and they're plausible for them to play, since this is not the Dreamt Setlist topic but a real guess for the tour)

    They'll be crazy if they don't play Discotheque and The Fly on that stage.

    They'll throw out SBS, Bullet, Pride.

    They also should avoid WOWY if they'll play it in a way they did after PopMart. PopMart version was fantastic.

    They should also add more AB/Zooropa/Pop stuff. Ultraviolet, Acrobat, Dirty Day, Lemon, If You Wear That Velvet Dress (instead of WOWY?), Do You Feel Loved, Please (full band Please would be as big as Acrobat).

    Speaking of new album...my biggest hopes go to NLOTH (song), it should be brilliant live.

    Also less I Will Follow and more The Electric Co. would be nice.

    AND COBL should be played before Streets, I think they would make great couple. : )

    I agree and disagree.

    I Will Follow, Sunday and Pride are epical, thay should NOT be dropped. Bullet and WOWY may be dropped in order to open space for fresher songs...

    Agree about the 90's stuff, and about NLOTH of course
  10. Sergio: It's funny you should add those five songs to it. I Will Follow was actually going to be straight after Out of Control and With or Without You was to originally be there, with both of those snippets. I also think it's a bit short, but you added to it beautifully.

    Pride was at first thought about, but then it didn't seem to match up all that well with the other songs - it's kind of a Vertigo 2006 setlist mixed in with the older pre-Zooropa period. Unknown Caller was going to be in there with Moment of Surrender, straight after No Line. I still don't know how they're gonna pull of Moment of Surrender or Unknown Caller - but they changed Sunday Bloody Sunday to acoustic and The Fly to a much harder and dirtier sound, so you never know what they're gonna do with it...

    I'm sure Breathe was there...maybe I took it out because it seemed strange to be placed where it was gonna be - just before Streets; though it would come nicely after Out of Control too, that beginning rumbling sound and then the keyboards. For this one, I didn't want One because it's definitely not a favourite at all - and unless it's changed a lot in the way it's played live, then it's just becoming a parody of what it was back in the early 90s.

    Maybe after No Line or Breathe - could be a line to a supposedly to-be-released song - ''I don't know if I'm that strong'.
