    The "Live under the Brooklyn Bridge" is a great low key gig, but are there any more like this? (Not studio bootlegs), just simple music concerts that focuses on the music itself rather than the performance.

  2. Brooklyn Bridge low key?? Parading about New York all day on a flat bed truck on a video shoot shouting 'we'l see you down at the bridge' and announcments all over the radio. Not too low key

    Ok then perhaps not low key, but i think there is a gap between those types of gigs and the big sell out tour ones with the flashing lights and far bigger crowds etc.

    I get ya now. There should be more. It's just finding the buggers. I'm sure you've got the Irving Plaza gig. That'l be the best example you'l get

  7. Nope i've been looking but there ain't much other than 2-3-4 song sets played in low-key venues. Nothing full or no U2 shows in their own right. (I could be wrong though)
  10. Irving Plaza was sort of low-key, not as big as something like Madison Square Gardens. Maybe some of their early shows were low(ish) key. I must get a few of those videos, my earliest DVD is like 1989 or something.

    Playing in the basement of a hotel, small stage, limited lighting, 1500 people. that has to be low-key
