    Well, we'll see..
The start of the show is too soon for Magnificent (the song that every member of the audience is craving), but NLOTH would be fantastic. A very big kick in our asses to get things started, and then let the show go on

Something very close to that I reckon. Hope it will be different though, something new and interesting and sparks flying, colours clashing. Anyone agree?
  3. Yeah me too, that one is too much like the Vertigo set
  4. This may well have been suggested about a million times, I reckon they might open with NLOTH then close with NLOTH2. Though perhaps it's a bit too vertigo-y

Been there, done that..although I prefer SBS in a different form ala Popmart.

Well, it is the first time I hear it, and I strongly dislike the idea. Almost as much as I disliked Vertigo played twice

yeah I never liked them playing Vertigo twice, I felt cheated out of an extra song, just thought they might try it as it might come off live, hearing a different tune to the same words and sort of providing a refrain for the concert and reiterating the main themes of the album. blah blah, blah blah <insert further English Literature-type nonsense here>

Oh, please, if an online petition against playing whichever song twice a concert existed, I'd be the first one to sign it. Going to two concerts on Vertigo Tour and hearing the same song (may I say the worst one from the set - at least for me) FOUR ridiculous times was really below my expectations. So much so that I left the stadium before the end of the show. That was the biggest disappointment for me on that tour, plus that I felt some of the songs really lost a lot of energy since Elevation Tour (to name a few: Streets, Bullet, Sunday Bloody Sunday, and probably also One).
  9. It's possible that there will be an A and a B set and that will be chosen between some classic tracks like NYD or SBS and WOWY or One.

What I hope is that U2 will do the same as Bruce Springsteen does on his tour with the requests and that each show at least one song will be played that isn't played until then on the tour.

I don't think the band can handle that. They just can't come up with a song that they haven't played for a long time instantly.

Well, that's why they've been rehearsing for 3 months now

For example, the one from the Vertig Tour with all the political songs in a row will be kinda lame if you know what I mean. Hence the new album is supposedly "different" with trance and co influences...I find it possible that they'll do a very mixed themes show.

I'd go for smth like this:

    01 NEW SONG
    02 Vertigo
    03 NEW SONG
    04 NEW SONG
    05 Window In The Skies
06 Two Hearts Beat As One or Seconds or New Year's Day
    07 Beautiful Day
    08 NEW SONG
09 Bad or One Tree Hill or Kite or October
    10 Sunday Bloody Sunday
    11 NEW SONG
    12 Pride
13 cover song (acoustic) or Wave Of Sorrow (acoustic)
14 Still Haven't Found or First Time or Who's Gonna Ride or Please or Staring At The Sun or Stay (acoustic)
    15 MLK / Scarlet
16 Where The Streets Have No Name
    17 I Will Follow

    18 NEW SONG
    19 One
    20 With Or Without You

    21 NEW SONG
22 Until The End Of The World
    23 NEW SONG or "40"

If they play that many new songs AND end the show with '40' (a la the last tour), I will be very upset. I don't want this tour to feel like the last tour. "40" is an awesome song, but it has to be out of this tour. Bring in an awesome song that everyone loves, but which the band doesn't play enough - my suggestion would be Ultraviolet (light my way).
