1. I got some news for you people who keep putting the same songs that were played on the last two tours. In an interview the edge said that they will drop a lot of the songs that were played on the past two tours!!!!!!!! Opening the slots for other songs that have not been played in a few tours. Maybe throwing in some Pop, and Zooropa!!!!!!!!!!!!! So00o0 please stop using songs from the past two tours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, if I really think that some songs from the 2001-2005 time will be played, why should I stop writing it?

Let's quote The Edge, shall we?

RS: "What will the set lists be like?"

Edge: "We're talking about resurrecting songs we haven't played in a long time. I have a list of every U2 song -- some I can't remember anymore -- even some of the B-sides that we've never played live. We were thinking how much fun it would be to play something like 'Luminous Times.' Certain songs from the last couple of tours, we may not play again. We want to find songs that feel fresh and valid."

OK, now let's analyze that, if I may, in particular this part: "Certain songs from the last couple of tours, we may not play again."
    - Certain songs ... could mean one, two, three songs, but certainly The Edge didn't say "A LOT of songs".
    - you said "the edge said that they will drop". No, The Edge said they MAY drop. There is some uncertainty in that sentence.
But, on the other hand, uncertainty can be a guiding light!

Even if the band could, Bono would never remember the lyrics....
  5. Indeed, that's been proved in several ocassions. Remarkably, on ASOH during the Elevation tour

    Nice list

  8. I like this. I can picture "I will be with you again...." into "The future...the future...the future needs a big kiss!"

  9. I did not mean it like that dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Given Edges comments about songs being dropped completely, Im thinking we'll be saying goodbye to the likes of Elevation, Bullet the Blue Sky, With or Without You, and maybe I Will Follow, although I really hope that stays. So Im thinking something like, or would love to see the set go like this:

    No Line on the Horizon
    Magnificent
    Gone
Even Better Than The Real Thing
    Unknown Caller
    I'll Go Crazy......
Beautiful Day (theyve been rehearsin this I think so is staying most likely)
    Vertigo
    Last Night on Earth
    Breathe
    Moment of Surrender
    The First Time
    Stay
    Heartland
    One (this has to stay)
    Exit (Cedars of Lebanon snippet)
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
    Mercy (I Wish)

    Fez
    Get on Your Boots
    Discotheque

Where The Streets Have No Name
    City of Blinding Lights
    I Still Haven Found......
    40

Elevation and Bullet The Blue Sky are keepers, I hope they don't drop them.

although I Will Follow, as much of a classic and live favourite it is, sounds tired and a tad forced sometimes nowadays.
