  1. a friend of mine just showed me this and it was new to me. I came here to see whether anyone had posted about it and I think no one did, so far (if so, I'm sorry ).

    so, there's a website called playingforchange.com who travel around the world to record well-known songs by putting all kinds of international (street) musicians together, letting them each play the song and then editing it as one song/band. very cool for example, check out stand by me: http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=2539741

    P.S. some people get a bit "huffy puffy" on here over redundant postings (I think yuri31 above was quite polite actually). But we all need to understand that only some of the users are surfing and reading all the threads for hours each day and, therefore, know what has/hasn't been posted. So, if somebody posts something that he/she assumes is new (a la flowerchild above), GET OVER IT AND LET OTHERS ENJOY IT.
