  2. They gave us plenty of 90's in the 90's and the last two tours. I don't mind it because they'll be playing songs no played or rarely played.

    really? you reckon?! i dont think they gave us that much 90's on the last two tours! -especially not from Pop or Zooropa! my problem with this setlist is its a bit too similar to the last two tours.... but hey i've said all this already earlier in this thread!

    They haven't given us much Pop or Zooropa I grant you that. But this is their 13 or 14th album right? Rule of thumb is about 8 songs played off new album, leaving 13 or 14 songs left to play. Doesn't leave a lot of room after the necessary 'classics' when you think about it.

    I have no idea why they still tour those songs.

    I wanted them to bring back Walk On the way it was done on Elevation. Pride is getting a bit tired, but it's a crowd-pleaser, so....

    True, Walk On if done properly, is decent.

    But I don't get how the other two are crowd pleasers, just who likes them; U2 fans proper? (I think not, they're hardly little known fan favourites).

    What about the other non-hardcore-fan concert goers?
    No way, Pride is outdated, melodramatic and was never even a proper U2 classic back in its day.
    And Elevation on the other hand is one of the songs ALWAYS being cited by U2 haters to attack the band, and is even more cringeworthy and sillier than GOYB (and we all know how that was received by the public).

    So who exactly are they flogging these two dead horses for? As it is these two are just adding fuel to the 'U2 are irrelevant' fire and their seemingly permanent setlist status is just preventing much better songs from making the setlist.

    Which is especially disappointing when you have a backcatalog with as much diversity and quality as they do.
