  8. Tribute bands draw from 0 to a few hundred, if playing a state fair or some place large.

    U2 draw THOUSANDS per show. There is your difference.

    U2 play what they want to play. They are not a tribute band. The are the real deal. They are pulling out some songs they've not played before and some not played in a few tours.

    U2 have been pretty good at being U2 for 30 years (counting the U2-3 single). So I am going to trust them to continue working hard to be the best U2 they can be.

    Judging by the rehearsal - so far so good.


  9. Lack of balls i'd guess.

    I'm desperate to see U2's back catalgue of DVD's released in blu ray (especially Sydney and Mexico). I doubt it will happen anytime before blu ray completely overtakes DVD in terms of sales.

    It will be criminal of them not to release any new DVD's in blu ray though
