1. Edge in Sept 2009 Guitar World magazine.

It's not a long and indepth feature, that will probably come out once U2 hit U.S. shores (as GW is a U.S. magazine). The article is pretty cool and cover "It Might Get Loud" with Edge, Jimmy Page and Jack White.

  2. Cool stuff, shame they couldn't include the Explorer in the shot though!!!
  3. 3 of my idols, right there.
  4. The Edge is so cool he didn't need a guitar for this shoot.
  5. I completely love two of those men, they're my real idols. Not sure about Jack White, honestly I haven't listened ANYTHING from him but I'll do a quick search through Youtube and might buy some album if I like him... But Edge and Page, Page and Edge... OMG

  6. This movie was tailor-made for me. Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White. Wow! My favorite three guitar players.

Sure ther are others that are great and that I admire, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave), Will Sergeant (Echo and the Bunnymen), Matt Bellamy (Muse)... but with these and many other great players... I am still convinced that they got right by making the film about Jimmy, Jack and The Edge.

Jack White has done a lot of great albums.

He's the singer and guitarist in White Stripes.

"The Hardest Button To Button" by White Stripes

    "Blue Orchid" by White Stripes

He's the singer and guitarist in The Raconteurs.

"Steady As She Goes" by The Raconteurs:

    "Level" by The Raconteurs:

You should be able to find lots of you tube clips from both bands.

He's also playing drums, some guitar and doing some vocals in a new band called The Dead Weather. (He's a pretty solid drummer too!)

There are some clips on you tube of this band too.

"Hang You From The Heavens" (Live) - This was from June 22nd.

Jack also produced the Grammy winning "Van Lear Rose" album by country legend Loretta Lynn.

Here's the video of Loretta and Jack playing "Portland, Oregon"
  8. Jeff, what would you recommend me to hear from Jack White (from Edge I'd recommend Bad, Streets and UTEOTW, for example)?? Thanks

EDIT. OK, we wrote at the same time THANKS!!!

There is TONS more than what I listed but it is a good start. Jack White is a talented fellow. I get it, some might not like White Stripes, Raconteurs, Dead Weather or Jack in general... but to me, I think he's fantastic.
  10. White Stripes are his best though.
