Me too - I remember they didn't play it at one of the Zoo TV gigs I went to (Manchester) and I was none too happy! I so hope I get to hear the Unforgettable Fire live for the first time in over 20 years too.
  3. A little disappointed Elevation, Bad, and Electrical Storm aren't in the setlist...and I don't want them to open with Breathe. Glad we'll hear The Unforgettable Fire and Ultraviolet...and I'm looking forward to hearing how Bono does Streets (given the video)...
  4. I got here late lol...

Mysterious Ways - YES! I hope they play it, that would be so much fun to sing and dance to in the field!
With Or Without You on ZOO TV Sydney - I agree, definitely not one of my favorite performances. I love the segway from Lemon to the song though. After that, any performance is better. True for any Post-Zooropa ZOO TV gig. Going of topic...
Micheal Jackson - One less weirdo in the world. I realize that may upset a few of you, but that's just how I feel. Wrong topic too, but whatever.
If they don't rehearse Electrical Storm soon, I'm going to have my period. I would make it happen...
Desmond Tutu video - bring it on, I personally like that type of stuff. Martin Luther King Jr. in Pride during the ZOO TV was awesome, why shouldn't Desmond Tutu in the beginning (we don't even know if it will be that way on the tour) of Streets be a great moment? There's more to being a band than playing music, who ever said that they don't like it. Way more.

Sorry, I'm sounding kind of pissy lol...

First show hasn't happened. Not sure that they've settled on one setlist

Good to see I'm not the only one PMSing lol
Desmond Tutu will be fine, as long as it isn't like, super long. Anything is better than the flags lol
    Play electrical storm, dammit

Lmao That's when you know that you are a U2 fan: you speak in a low-medium G#, but then a sudden estrogen level increases when they don't play a certain song.
It was 1983, it was either flags or dancing in a street. Or a bad hair day...
    Yes, or else.

I think they rehearsed a total of 29/30 songs; there'll probably be changes in the setlist here and there...

  9. I agree . Id say tonight will see a change in the lineup again and probably the same each night till monday which will be closer to the real thing . I wont be looking at setlists from saturday , sunday or monday in case it ruins any surprises . Think the might still Have one or two tricks up their sleeve . Ill be travelling to Barca at that stage anyway .
  10. i just wanna know how u2 is gonna deal with the world media talking about michael and his funerals....
im a huge fan of u2...
but as a pop music fan....i think it would be nice to see a just a litle MJ reference in the show.
maybe just after the song WINDOW IN THE SKIES
with all those icons..finishing with michael...
i dont know how...but it would be nice.

    +1
    Good idea. Like it.

I think that U2's tour will lose a bit of relevance with all the MJ hype going on, that's not good at all
