U2 asks you to do one thing.
How hard is it to print out a mask and when you hear the first notes of Walk On you put it on.
Wether you like it or not you can expect this kind of stuff when you go to a U2 concert.
The least you can do is print it out and wear it, show some damn respect

Asking people to sign up for One, which forces action is a good thing. I proudly did it. Asking your fans to wear a mask at your concert is pointless and over the top. One of the reasons I normally applaud Bono for his activism, and yes even those concert speeches, is because they lead to something meaningful. What does getting people to play dressup at your concert do other than stroke an already large ego?

there really is no point trying to talk to someone like that - there is no reasoning with these type of fans.. to them Bono & U2 simply CANNOT be criticised in any way...

There are definitely things I don't like about them. Nobody's perfect, not Bono, not Edge, not Adam and not Larry.
This stunt will give it publicity.
Bono will always do something political at every show, it's who he is.
I don't always like, sometimes I think he should just shut up and sing.
But I truly believe that this is a good way to make the world look, to make the world take action.
