And yes, I say U2, cause it's not just Bono...

    It keeps Adam interested
    It keeps Edge interested
And yes, it keeps even Larry interested

my annoyance stems from Bono's over indulgence. He wrote the song for this woman. Surely there's no better tribute than having a song written for you as well as sang live for you. Why not just say 'remember miss. . . .' or show here on the screens. Why the hideous masks? It's just weird

i remember when they used to make albums like Pop to keep them interested ("if it keeps us interested it wont be bullshit for you")

unfortunately these days some of it is a bit bullshit for me

It might be weird, but its great to have a 50.000 man crowd (even more) all wearing the same mask. Would give me chickenpox anyhow

We're one but not the same gets a new meaning this way
  5. What next, loads of fans start complaining because too many people plan to wear green coloured shirts to one of the concerts?

As has been said who cares if other people are wearing the masks? No-one is forcing you to and if you think your U2 experience is going to be ruined by something as simple as that then by all means don't go. Let a fan who is just happy to be seeing the band regardless of what the other fans are wearing take your place.

I think you mean goosebumps lol...

...but yeah, wow, loving the look of the setlists! Just the sort of thing to reignite one's interest in all things U2 after a bit of a sojourn away from this good site! Would love to see how Drowning Man turns out, not to mention bringing back UV, hoo-fucking-rah - hint to the band; drop anything worth the wait and I'll shoot the lot of you, complete with a copy of Catcher In The Rye in hand!

By the looks of it, Bono's been watching too much V for Vendetta...I can't say I'm too bothered about wearing a mask to a gig on the tour, it would look pretty amazing with a stadium full of people wearing 'em all, although I think Bono's being a bit too optimistic if he thinks it'll actually make a difference to the situation in Burma.

In Bono-fashion, I invite everyone to chill the hell out over this mask stuff - wear it or not, it's a free world (of sorts), you have the choice
  7. yeah im bored of talking about it now - just think its a rubbish idea
  8. So, back to the music, word on rehearsals yet?

  9. Haha, I dunno fella, but if we all got chickenpox every time we felt the hairs on the back of our neck stand on end, we'd be fucked

I agree, let's get back to the rehearsals chat because I think that's got more scope for worthwhile discussion than bits of cardboard

ULTRA VIOLET, ULTRA VIOLET, ULTRA VIOLET!!!!
