  1. So, I think it's time for the first real topic this year. BARCELONA! 4 days of partying to go.



    I will fly out on Sunday to Barcelona, Gerard will fly out on monday and Sergio of course is already in Spain. So the majority of the crew will be out of sight for a while.

    For all the other people going to Barcelona, when will you start queuing, how long will you be in Barcelona and where do you stay?

    Me and Gerard are thinking of 9 am queuing, and we're both staying in hotels in the Carrer de Pallars street. Maybe others can join us.

    NOTE: Just show discussion here, and discussion for the people actually going to the show.

  3. I'll fly to Barcelona early on Tuesday morning, due to my work schedule I'll have to leave on Wednesday again.

    After checking in at Sant Jordi hostel (~800m from the Camp), I should arrive at the stadium around 9am

    I still haven't looked up all those entrances of the stadium... my ticket says Acc 5 / Pta.5... so if that means something like "gate 5"... and you guys are located at different gates... it would be too sad if we'd be sitting on the opposite sides of the stadium all day long while queueing how do we find each other? (other than looking out for the t-shirts, obviously )

    My hotel is HTHoteles Museum 200m from Plaza de Catalunia.

    Great, how long will you stay in Barcelona?

    Plaça de Catalunya is just 5 km. from our hotel.
  8. Im not arriving in Barca til 10 am on 30th . In true irish fashion im Going to Have a load of beer and see a u2 tribute band 3 o clock and be in the nou camp in plenty of time to see snow patrol .

    I'll be queing at gate (puerta = gate) number FIVE, so you all are welcome to cheer me or even to sing a bit with me

  12. My girlfriend and I arrive in Barca tomorrow evening and we are staying near to the Sagrada Familia. We have got standing tickets for Tuesday's gig but we don't plan to queue up all day. Would be nice to meet a couple of forum members for a beer at some point perhaps.

    The Michael Collins Irish pub (which is near the Sagreda Famila) http://www.michaelcollinspubs.com/ has a U2 tribute band at 23:00 Monday and 15:00 on Tuesday, I might be there on the Monday night.
