1. Yeah, I think they were just screwing with us.

But an acoustic Mysterious Ways would be very interesting. I'm so psyched for this concert.
  2. there's still a chance we don't know what they've been rehearsing in that private rehearsal room. must have been there for a reason

MW acoustic? that's difficult to imagine, but I'm curious!

True, I think he just played it for fun (joking around). They won't play a song which wasn't rehearsed, especially a song like ES.

What about the day of indoor rehearsals behind closed doors in Barca . Maybe that was when they ran through electrical storm as a big suprise . Why else would they Have that thing larry was playing the storm intro on even on the stage for if they were not Going to do it . Am i clutching straws here ???????
  4. There have been talks on an acoustic 'set' and this seems to fit in with last nights setlist.

    Angel of Harlem
    Mysterious Ways
    In A Little While

    Brilliant

They could be pulling another song from Boy out on us as a surprise and not be doing Electrical Storm...they use that quite a bit on that album. Other than that, I'm not sure. Intro, maybe?

  6. maybe they were about to try out ES and then suddenly realised it's not actually that good...
  7. I will give the band my right nut for them never to play Mysterious Ways acoustically. Please guys, don't screw up the song by stripping it down completely.

Now that I think about it...yeah. It might be interesting as a novelty for one time...but the whole fun of the song is the funk from the bass and the wacky electric guitar voices...

  9. Ahaha, maybe maybe...it's not that bad, but I don't think it would be that good live. We shall see, I could be wrong. It's been known to have happened before...

Sod that lol, I think acoustic MW would be cool, although it'll never be the same as full electric á la ZooTV/Pop...it needs the piano part...
  10. Thanks for all of the updates Sergio. Cheers to all of the Godfathers of U2Start (Remy Gerard Sergio- forgive me if I leave anyone out)going to the opener. I feel like I am there with you. Come closer to my house in 2010 dammit! By the way, ES is better than a typical U2 song. Play it!

  12. Yeah, are they really gonna open with Breathe? That's crap. Not a good opener, since it builds on its own, rather than lending itself well to an intro like that clip we've heard a couple of times now.
