It'll be interesting to hear it. I thought Crazy Tonight and Breathe would suck live, but it turns out they're some of the best live material U2 has had in 12 years, even with their weird lyrics. To me, No Line is an album that is gonna be way better for stadiums than the last album and everything on it can potentially be performed live, electric or acoustic.

So the first show is gonna be taped, and that's confirmed? I know YouTube is gonna be full...

First official show will be taped by ChrisEdge if I remember it right. So that will be a decent audience recording. Will be some bits of the dress rehearsal too.

Awesome, good to hear there's folks providing for those of us who can't be there.

His recordings are always good, if not very good. Looking forward to it.

    Awesome news indeed

    absolutely
  5. Right. I really want to hear Until The End of the World Slane Castle-style, but oh well. We'll see what they do with this material. The bridges look amazing in the new video.

And people, you know they can't do Red Hill Mining Town...it just won't happen.

UTEOTW 3rd leg (and henceforth) Vertigo style really kicked ass, with Larry smashing the hell out of his cymbals

Yes they can do Red Hill Mining Town. Just sing it normally. It can be done...

Aaaah - on that two days video the setlist has Vertigo and With or Without You. Nooooooooooo!!!!
  8. I wonder what they will change when the come to The States? I hope they keep UltraViolet. And Please please bring out Acrobat. I know I am preaching to the choir, but its been long enough. There must be some personal reason why they wont play it.

  9. +1.

the setlist is looking a little "soft"imo/

need some rocking u2 tracks in there.
some decent pop/achtung/zooropa tracks in there.

    too many soft tunes

  10. too many tracks off atyclb.

personally i think thats one of thier weakest albums.

not enough gritty u2 rocking tracks in there.that album is too soft.

and it looks like thyere playing a handful off atyclb

and none off zooropa and pop.
  11. Oh yeah, Sergio, I don't know if you're already in Barca yet, but thanks for your hard work and connections to the other sites and getting that published here for the rest of us to enjoy - it's been great reading and just generally getting into the spirit and swing of yet another epic tour.

One day...damn, the tour vibe is back yet again. The third tour to get excited about thus far for me, and hopefully the second one for Australia. About the 90s stuff...wait 'til later in the tour. You never know what they're gonna bring out. I never thought we'd hear One Tree Hill, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses or All I Want Is You again, or even a snippet of Please or Discotheque - but we did and how great it was to finally hear those ''long-lost'' tracks again.

Hell, if they come to Australia, I'm not worried about what they play, as long as they come and play.
