One day...damn, the tour vibe is back yet again. The third tour to get excited about thus far for me, and hopefully the second one for Australia. About the 90s stuff...wait 'til later in the tour. You never know what they're gonna bring out. I never thought we'd hear One Tree Hill, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses or All I Want Is You again, or even a snippet of Please or Discotheque - but we did and how great it was to finally hear those ''long-lost'' tracks again.

Hell, if they come to Australia, I'm not worried about what they play, as long as they come and play.

    cool post.

putting it into perspective whatever they play.
    this tour will be incredible.

  2. U2 know best when it comes to live. It will be incredible, and a sight to behold. And the multitude of live recordings and DVDs to be recorded and released...that, I'm looking forward to.

Don't worry about soft or the lack of 90s tracks. When you see it, you won't care. I would rather they get the new stuff right and then do justice, live, for those lost and forgotten tracks - and waiting half a year to get it all right will be the best thing they can do.

  3. Exactly......its got to the point where im not too bothered what they play.....this tour is just going to be immense....

And I just feel privilidged that I will be going 3 times.......I had great seats for MJ as well 2 days before croke park...would have been an amazing two days but it wasn;t to be....it will make me appreciate the U2 gigs that little bit more......

Appreciative of the fact that there is one talented set of musicians left to tour. His legacy will live on forever in six months with the new footage, but that's for another topic.

    So fucking excited!
  5. aaaaahhh. I'm back from vacation, and back on U2start - I hate that I have to wait until October to see them!!!!! I'm really liking the setlist though. I'm so looking forward to seeing some pictures/video from the first show!

    Same here.
I too had tickets, for 3 MJ concerts. One was on the 24th. So as odd as it is, now I can attend Dublin I + II instead.

Personally, I'de rather see them do as the genious in your avatar did and learn more than 30 songs (like 80-90).
  8. forgive me if this is already common knowledge out here, but...
Is there going to be a full dress rehearsal before opening night?
