1. Based on everything you're saying, it sounds like it'll be filmed in London. They've already done one in Ireland, and if the sound sucks in Amsterdam, and they film it in a big country on a gig where they have at least 2 nights, then that just leaves London, ja?
  2. Is the sound in Amsterdam really that bad? A friend of mine had GA for the Vertigo gigs and never complained because the sound was clear.
  3. wrong post
  4. The only reason that an Amsterdam DVD would be cool because it's in my country and I'm gonna be there 2 nights. That's the only reason. It's our country's ugliest stadium and the sound isn't that great at all too.

I don't really care where they shoot the dvd, as long as it's not in the US.
  5. they should film in south america, the best crowd is overthere.

Yes, it's pretty bad. The ArenA has a roof that can be closed, but even if it's open the construction generates nasty echos.
During Vertigo the roof was closed because it was expected to rain. Horrible mistake. Sunshine all over, extremely hot inside. I was standing close to the stage where the sound was decent, a friend of mine standing halfway the field wasn't very happy about it.
Anyway thanks to the Claw it seems to be impossible to close the roof this time.
Last time I've been there was in July 2007 (the Police). Sound was a lot better then as they used some sort of big sound absorbing plates attached to the roof.

But it doesn't make filming impossible Call me childish but I really hope

Allright, the roof will be open indeed. At least, that's what I expect. Plus, The Claw is more in the middle of the field, with sound coming from all sides. That could be an advantage too.

  8. What ?! The ArenA ?!

omg you probably never saw a Belgian stadium What's wrong with it ?

+ All the people i heard that went to the ArenA before said the sound sucks... Don't know why tough
  9. It will be Gothenburg if u ask me, since they had an amazing show there, not just on Vertigo but also before

Well technically they can do what they want if ya look at ticketmasters terms and conditions but i dont think they will change it although it would be a better show if they did and everyone was facing the canal end . we will see . either way they wont shoot croke park for a dvd . If I had to choose then maybe Cardiff as Barca will be too early in the tour . They would want to iron out some mistakes first .
